Web Design

Intern, Summer 2017

Project Description

The national Energy Conference needed a website refresh. I was tasked with writing and loading graphic content in a manner consistent with the client’s brand. I also wrote content and managed the social media campaign for the Conference. Ensuring the national speakers on the program were promoted extensively was a priority. Throughout this process I used my newly gained skills in WordPress and basic HTML to help develop a fresh, new, functional website that I am very proud of and the client is proud of.

Project Feature

Promoting the speakers, communicating their extensive bios and contact information added a level of complexity in creating this page. It was an interactive exercise. Twenty-two speakers were listed as they appeared on the agenda and each photo click led to a full bio dropdown and social media handles. The website pages are professional, savvy and clean. View the full website here to grasp the intricacy and level of cohesiveness involved.

Project Description

IGDesign Group is dedicated to delivering powerful and effective communications using a strategic blend of marketing and technology to create award-winning marketing communications, website design, social media and graphic design. I worked with the company’s owner to seek an expanded new target audience for Travel & Play. I assisted in editing content, designing pages and ensuring usability. With creative freedom, my objective was to entice the consumer into envisioning themselves at each destination they discovered through the website pages. Travel & Play is a service oriented business. It was essential to captivate the curiosity of the consumer and lay out the path toward a final purchase decision by developing a connection through visual and written content.
