Intern, Summer 2017
Huggins Consulting Group’s top priority is helping clients achieve their business objectives. Their approach is aligned with the business mission and driven by the client’s brand promise. When pitching to a new client, they must effectively communicate why the client should choose them by guaranteeing what other companies can’t. In the project below, I had the opportunity to build a presentation that would be used to market the firm. With a tasteful mix of graphics, information and engaging slides, I built a successful PowerPoint presentation that helped the group land a new client. Learning what was important to the client and balancing the right amount of information in the presentation (while making it visually pleasing) was the most challenging task.
Huggins Consulting Group integrates their comprehensive skill sets to address specific business challenges such as issue and crisis management, internal communications and more. I had the opportunity to redevelop a generic Effective Spokesperson Workshop plan to be used by the group. During this process, I researched trends involving teaching, workshops, and speaking, so I could design a useful, engaging outline. As you can see, there is a clear layout and use of icons. Redeveloping this plan allowed me to have a greater appreciation and understanding of market research as well as public relations.
